After an initial remote consultation you will have an on-site visit from one of our experienced WiFi consultants who will, utilising industry leading technology (Ekahau Sidekick 2) gather a comprehensive volume of data around the current WiFi environment in terms of both your internal and third party networks that are detectable on site.
This data will then be analysed by our team of experts and a detailed bespoke report is created.

Prices for a WiFi Audit start from £750. Are there any factors that could lead to my audit costing more than this?
Pricing for our WiFi Audit Service is based on factors including geographical location, square footage, and the structural complexity of a site. Where there is the possibility of a higher cost for an audit to take place, we will always outline this clearly prior to arranging any on-site visit.
So how does the process work?
Once you have filled out the above contact form, we'll come back to you to arrange a call, in which we will ask you about your site and how you use your WiFi. We'll then arrange for the on-site visit to take place.
Typically for the on-site visit, one of our engineers will arrive with you at the start of the day. We'll need a quick chat to confirm details such as confirming any access restrictions or PPE requirements. Our engineer will then start surveying using our specialist test equipment (Ekahau Sidekick 2) and will visit all areas where wireless coverage is required. Our staff are discreet and focused on minimising any impact or disruption to your organisation.
Once the survey is complete, our engineer will report back to Haptic HQ, where we will review the findings of the visit and create your bespoke WiFi Audit report. We will then hold a final post-audit call with you to discuss the findings and provide any recommendations as required.
Will my WiFi be affected while the on-site visit is taking place?
No. Our investigative process is not invasive and does not impact your wireless network or users.
Who will be conducting the on-site visit?
Unlike many other IT companies who outsource their expertise, we will never send anyone to your site to complete a WiFi Audit who is not a full-time member of the Haptic team. When it comes to WiFi, we pride ourselves on our reputation. Our industry-leading expertise allows us to deliver a high-quality assessment that can truly benefit your network should you decide to act on the recommendations provided by our report.
What will be required from me?
Before the on-site visit can take place, you will need to provide the floor plans for your site, as well as ensuring our engineers are provided with access to all relevant areas of your building. This will allow us to obtain a detailed view of your current WiFi environment so we can provide the most accurate recommendations for how to best optimise your site. You will also need to be available for our pre (up to 30 mins) and post-audit (up to 60 mins) calls.
How discreet are your engineers?
If while on-site one of our engineers spots a flaw or error in how your network is configured, they will not mention this. We're used to working with IT professionals in larger organisations, and our mission is always to help and offer consultancy, not to undermine the quality of any existing systems. Our assessment and recommendations will only be provided in your bespoke WiFi Audit report. Feedback is always given in the fullest of confidence and will only be shared directly with you.
What happens after the audit?
Once report handover has been completed, if there is any additional work or consultancy required, Haptic will be more than happy to assist in helping you remedy your situation.
Can I see an example report?
Absolutely. Please mention this to a member of our team and we will be more than happy to send across a redacted example WiFi Audit report.
When do I pay?
Subject to our purchasing Terms & Conditions, we would act on a purchase order from you. We operate on a 30-day invoice basis from the date that our work is completed.
Why can't I just do this myself?
The testing equipment we use costs in excess of £10,000. On top of this, there are associated costs of subscriptions & training requirements which cost over £2000 per annum, to ensure we can deliver the most accurate and beneficial insight on how your wireless network is performing. This, coupled with over a decade and a half of our experience, means that whilst you could do a DIY assessment of your WiFi, you would find it difficult to obtain the depth of understanding necessary to overcome your WiFi challenges.
